Believing
in Ourselves
Where did the disbelief come from?
Where can we take it and grow?
We have so much knowledge
We tried so hard, maybe more than we know
Where did the disbelief come from?
We need to believe in ourselves
Others can see it, why can't we
If only it came easy, we must try to succeed
Others' always seem to be free!
If only we could stop trying;
Listen to our voices and believe
What we will find will be special;
Trust the voices, they are right, wait and see
We don't disbelieve anymore
The journey is exciting and new
Understanding and knowledge, support and trust;
Our pathway is leading, all but a few
We must learn the lessons in our pathway
More valuable than ever we know
Until the journey is undertaken
Our pathways and direction will grow
I am not alone in this journey
Reassurance and guidance is there
I have the strength, the direction and courage
To arrive with a need to share
One day the focus will be on others
To heal and support in the same way
This valuable experience is special
Many lessons to learn so they say
So I ask you to take just a moment
To consider your feelings right now
Believe and trust in your instincts
They will always make it through some how.

Difficult
Times
Difficult times embrace me
A way forward I need to learn
Despair and anguish is all that I feel
The answers, they remain unturned
I encounter the past with an unknown trust,
The lessons have been ignored
The future can be viewed from a different source
The answers are there rest assured
Support and light is always around
If only to ask it was easy
Assistance is there when it's required
Preventing the hardship, despair and the needy
A lifetime of doubt is difficult to change
The time ahead will be different
Embracing and movement can only be good
Adjustment and understanding the challenge
I look forward to the time that has been given,
The Accepting and the feeling is hard
A lifetime of journey that didn't feel right
Unveiling the potential that exists in my heart
I will work hard at the answers and find them to be true
Belief in existence will change
A positive note I'm determined to feel
The enormity of the past is suddenly exchanged.

Fighting
with Peace
The fighting has gone, at peace I can say
The message is clear, a wonderful new day
Enough has been said, the battle no more
Enlisting a reason to listen and pray
Engulfing my presence, a light so bright
The warmth and the knowledge, the feeling so right
I am here at last, all that I can feel
The past now makes sense, the future so real
The peace and tranquillity, the presence so clear
Awaiting a moment, the light to appear
The urgency gone, a new pace been set
The past and the future at last are met
The battle began, a snap shot of time
Confusion and anguish, the feelings entwine
Allowing the movement to surround the heart
The peace moves inward, the fear now apart
The anger has gone, acceptance I feel
Responsibility for actions, the wounds are to heal
They leave many scars, a mark of the past
A reminder of the strength, the courage to last

Healing
Arms
As the shadow of the past slowly drifts away
The movement is towards a clear new day
Finding a path, a new route to take
The journey unknown, a fresh start to make
As time moves on, how uncomfortable it feels
Moving forwards, not backwards, How can it be real?
Negativity and judgements', Internally they settle
Eating away at life's full potential
I can but continue, the journey gets harder
Expressing the feelings is so unfamiliar
Troubled and anger, the negative fear
The future is bright, exciting and clear
Giving thanks and Love for all to share
Moving into the process is too much to bear
Sorrow and pain are all but a few
Kindness and light, can you feel it too?
I am privileged and enriched by the love that is given
And would like to give thanks for the guidance that's given
I can cherish and live every moment that's real
In the comfort and joy of the arms that can heal

Nan
Now the past we speak with a love that we felt
The strength of character, the humour you dealt
Controlling, alas, the need was great
A life fringed with struggle, until too late
The stories, the passion, the strength you gave
The feelings exchanged for the courage you made
Entwined and confused others once new
A lifetime of judgement some of them true
Never afraid to speak ones mind
A troubled reaction somewhere always to find
If a feeling was needed, to deal a trump card
A way of avoidance always left the mind scarred
The laughter and sadness will sorely be missed
The heavenly achievements, will appear on your list
The work will be done with feeling not sorrow
The lessons to learn look around you tomorrow
If a lesson is learnt from this world to heaven
It has to be feeling and love to be given
It was there all along, but lost in the heart
To find it again will create a new start…

Little Voice
O little voice inside me hear
A little note to cherish
Inner-self respond to thee
To rid me of the fear
Instinctively I listen thou
To what it feels to say
I hear the sound so very clear
And quietly I pray
O little voice creates a calm
Instinctively I follow
The fear is gone, and quiet I lay
The power of tomorrow!

Power of the Tree
The tall strong branches spread their presence wide
A hidden meaning this tree can hide
The power and manipulation that once was felt
The changing beauty, the colours can melt
A symbol of strength, if one can find
A picture that haunts an innocent mind
The fruits of the source are plentiful now
The changing seasons, a reminder some how
The tree stood alone, in a field so bare
Alongside a creature, powerless to share
The vision is framed, not by rain or a cloud
But a beam of sadness, a heavenly shroud
Time is a healer, the work being done
The picture of strength, the powerful one
The courage and wisdom, the fruits from within
I acknowledge the loser, and the one who will win.

Wishes
One day you wishes come true
Enable the process and it becomes known
Inspiration from thy soul
Takes a look from within
And the seed will somehow be sewn
Your wish will remain secret from others
The wisdom and trust sets it free
The belief in the moment
The trust in yourself, reflects the power in thee
The wisdom and love, the power within
Changing reactions, the journey will begin
Unconditionally we love, evolving a new
Type of feeling that unleashes that wish will come true.
